    Estimated Stipend $57,600 Vacation/PTO Residents accrue paid time off (PTO) during the one-year residency program. Use of PTO will be in accordance to the residents' PTO policy. Insurance Residents are eligible for medical, prescription, dental, vision, long-term disability and short-term disability insurance. Professional Liability Insurance Residents are covered by the hospital's general professional liability insurance. Educational Stipend Reasonable expenses for travel to the ASHP Mid-Year Meeting and Eastern States Residency conference are reimbursable.

    The Inova Fairfax Medical Campus PGY1 pharmacy residency program has been ASHP accredited since 1990. Our post-graduate training program is designed to prepare pharmacists to pursue a clinical pharmacy career in a health system environment. Our residents have gone on to become patient care clinical pharmacists in a hospital setting or have gone on to matriculate into a PGY2 residency training program in their area of choice.
