  4. Fairfax Family Medicine Residency Program: Sports Medicine Fellowship

    Under the leadership of Jairo Olivas, MD, Interim Fellowship Director, the program offers a competitive fellowship experience in Sports Medicine. The program draws on experiences with local orthopedists, local professional, college and high school sports teams, and academic work with the medical school of Uniformed Services University to provide intensive training in musculoskeletal medicine. The program accepts 2 fellows per year for a 1 year training program.

    A Long History and Deep Commitment to Graduate Medical Education Inova Fairfax Hospital is an independent academic medical center and serves as a regional medical school campus for The University of Virginia (UVA). Our campus is host to a range of graduate medical education programs including both residency programs and fellowships.
