Zahra is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She joined Inova Health System in 2016 and has been practicing since 2006. She supports neurosurgeon Mahesh Shenai, MD. Prior to joining Inova, Zahra completed her critical care clinical nurse specialist MS degree at George Washington University in Washington, DC, where she also completed her actute care nurse practitioner and doctorate in nursing practice degrees. She completed her bachelor of science at Shahid Univeristy in Iran. Zahra enjoys spending time with my Schnauzer, cooking, going to the winery and relaxing at her lake house.

Dr. Zain Sultan is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. He joined Inova Health System in 2021 and has been practicing since 2017.  Dr. Sultan has a special interest in the prevention and management of chronic disease such as diabetes, heart disease and chronic pain through lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise. He enjoys treating patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults. Dr. Sultan prioritizes lifestyle changes in addition to any necessary medications or treatments to improve and prevent chronic diseases.
