1. Michelle Vassallo, MHA, BSN, RN, NE-BC, CEN

    Michelle Vassallo is an award-winning and accomplished nursing leader with nearly 15 years of experience and currently serves as the Vice President of Nursing for Inova’s clinical platforms service line. In this role, Michelle is responsible for clinical quality, service and affordability metrics and overall strategic direction of laboratory and pathology services, pharmacy services, nutrition services, and diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services.
  2. Nancy Bowles, BSN, RN, MHA, OCN®, CRNI®, NEA-BC, CPC, CHONC

    Nancy Bowles, BSN, RN, MHA, OCN®, CRNI®, NEA-BC, CPC, CHONC, is the Vice President of Nursing at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute. Nancy is an accomplished clinical oncology professional with over three decades of experience leading cancer centers and oncology service lines. Nancy has dedicated her entire career to oncology and is fascinated in the advancements that has happen during her tenure. Her passion lies in helping patients throughout their cancer journey. She is very active in team member professional development, new patient education and program development.
  3. Patricia Lane, MBA, BSN, SCRN, FAAN

    Patricia (Pat) Lane, MBA, BSN, SCRN, FAAN is an accomplished healthcare executive with more than two decades of experience in hospital leadership. In Inova Neurosciences she holds responsibility for implementing and managing administrative and operational functions across neurology, neurosurgery, neuroscience nursing, and neurological research and education while also serving a two-year appointment as the President of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses.
  4. Raj Chand, MD

    Raj Chand, MD, serves as President of Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. Prior to his appointment, Raj served on the medical staff of Inova Fair Oaks Hospital since 2020 as a practicing emergency medicine (EM) physician and as a member of the Admin Council (Chief Medical Officer). He served as Medical Director of the Inova Fair Oaks Emergency Department for four years and served as President of Virginia Emergency Medicine Associates (VEMA) for six years.
  5. Rina Bansal, MD, MBA

    Rina Bansal, MD, MBA, joined Inova Alexandria Hospital in January 2016 as the Chief Medical Officer and was named President in May 2019.  She was in the inaugural class of McGill University’s MD-MBA program. She obtained both a Doctorate in Medicine and a Master’s in Business Administration in 2001. Subsequently, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency Program at University of California, San Francisco. Rina joined Inova Fairfax Hospital’s Department of Medicine in 2008 as a Hospitalist.
  6. Roberta Tinch, MHA, FACHE

    Roberta Tinch, MHA, FACHE, is President of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and Vice President and Administrator, Inova Musculoskeletal Service Line. Roberta is an accomplished healthcare executive with more than a decade of experience leading hospital operations and employee relations, while developing physician partnerships that have enhanced team engagement and the patient experience.
  7. Sage Bolte, PhD, LCSW, CST

    Sage Bolte, PhD, LCSW, CST, is Chief Philanthropy Officer and President of the Inova Health Foundation. In her role, Sage oversees comprehensive development strategies to welcome philanthropic investments from those in our community who share Inova's passion for advancing world-class healthcare. She partners with the foundation’s board of trustees, Inova leadership and team members, volunteers and generous donors to achieve Inova's mission, advance best practices, and cultivate a culture of philanthropy for the entire system.
  8. Sean McCleary, MHA

    Sean McCleary is Vice President of Professional Services and Administrator of Inova’s clinical platforms service line. In this role, Sean is responsible for leading and executing strategic and operational priorities across diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, clinical and anatomic pathology, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, clinical nutrition and blood donor services. Sean earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.
  9. Stephen J. Motew, MD, MHA, FACS

    Stephen J. Motew, MD, MHA, FACS, is an Executive Vice President and Chief of Clinical Enterprise at Inova Health System. In this role, he is responsible for all clinical service operations and outcomes for the health system. Steve is committed to delivering optimal outcomes for patients by focusing on transformational changes, patient care redesign, high reliability service line stewardship and physician leadership development. With over 20 years in the healthcare industry, Steve is a practicing vascular surgeon and a member of various surgical and healthcare leader groups.
  10. Steve Narang, MD, MHCM

    Steve Narang, MD, MHCM, is President of Inova Fairfax Medical Campus and serves as President, Inova Pediatric Service Line. A pediatrician, Steve joined Inova from Banner Health in Arizona, where he served as CEO of Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix since 2013. Steve is a physician executive whose experience leading a complex healthcare organization presents a strong foundation for his role at Inova. He has improved patient quality and safety outcomes while increasing physician satisfaction and alignment during his tenure as CEO.
