Curriculum and Rotations
Our fellowship offers 2 tracks: Pediatric (3 years) and Emergency Medicine (2 years) Each year contains 12 monthly blocks. Conference/Mentorship All fellows participate in the weekly conference. Conference covers core PEM content, simulation, POCUS, Procedural skills, Board Review, EBM, Article review, Case review, M&M, Specialist rounds, research meetings, journal watch, QI/patient safety, Adult EM topics, Wellness, as well as joint conferences with PEM programs in the region. The fifth week of the month is dedicated to fellow wellness. -

Bariatric Surgery Fellowship Program at Inova
Inova's one-year fellowship for bariatric surgery was established in 2003. The program includes simultaneous clinical and research responsibility. The objective of this program is to develop a bariatric surgeon who can assume complete responsibility for the preoperative, operative and postoperative surgical care of the general surgery patient undergoing minimally invasive surgery and the morbidly obese patient. -
About Inova's Bariatric Surgery Fellowship
This one-year fellowship was established in 2003 and includes simultaneous clinical and research responsibility.
