Dr. Jha is a specialty care physician board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in endocrinology. She joins Inova Medical Group – Endocrinology with over six years of clinical experience and has a special interest in management of diabetic and pre-diabetic conditions as well as pituitary, bone, calcium and thyroid disorders. Dr. Jha was inspired to pursue a career in medicine during a summer spent working with her grandfather, a surgeon who provided care to indigent patients in remote communities.

Stephanie Ferber is a board-certified specialty care nurse practitioner. She joined Inova Health System in 2021, and was practicing as a registered nurse since 2009 before becoming a nurse practitioner in 2020. Prior to joining Inova, Stephanie worked as an Assistant Patient Care Director in a combined Cardiovascular Stepdown and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.

Shaima J. Kanak is a doctor of nursing practice, board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She worked for Inova Health System from 1989 until 2017 and rejoined Inova in 2021.  With a background in public health, Shaima is very interested in women’s health and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, tuberculosis and hematological diseases. Most of her experience is with the adult population, though she enjoys treating children and teens tremendously. As a provider, she strives to be an advocate for her patients.
