Lauren attended Brigham Young University and earned her degree in Physical Therapy from Provo College in Utah. Focusing on manual therapy techniques and dynamic balance, she also led the outpatient PTA team and theBack Injury Prevention program at Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital in Rockville, Maryland, before she moved to Woodbridge, Virginia, and joined the Inova team in 2008. Lauren has since become a Certified Health Coach as well as begun treating Pelvic floor concerns in addition to general orthopedics.

Lauren received her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from The George Washington University. She also received a Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech. Athletics has always been an integral part of Lauren’s life, and through her passion for running, swimming, and playing field hockey she developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries. She has a wide range of experience treating orthopedic conditions with an emphasis on low back pain in the adolescent and adult populations as well as post-surgical rehabilitation.
