Lauren Meth is a board-certified physician assistant who comes to Inova Medical Group with 10 years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in preventative medicine; women’s health and helping patients make lifestyle changes to achieve their health goals. She enjoys providing medical care for entire families, from infants to teens to the elderly. A native of New York, Lauren became a healthcare professional because of her desire to help people and make a positive impact on their lives.

Lauren graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor of science degree and a masters of arts degree in teaching. She taught middle school math in Northern Virginia for a couple years before switching careers. Lauren worked as a Physical Therapy Aide for an outpatient sports rehabilitation clinic for two years prior to going back to school to become a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in order to provide more hands-on care. She graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an associate of applied science degree.

Dr. Lauren James is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She joined Inova Health System in 2021 and has been practicing since 2010. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. James worked as an urgent care physician.  Memberships/Accreditations American Academy of Family Medicine
