Ande received her Associate's degree in General Studies in 1994 and completed her Associate's Degree as Physical Therapist Assistant in 1996 from Northern Virginia Community College. She was employed at Patriots Outpatient Sports Medicine in Burke, Virginia for 2 years before coming to Inova in 1998.  She treats a variety of orthopedic patients from pediatric to the elderly. She enjoys exercising, especially biking in the park.

Andrea has been a therapist for more than 27 years. She has vast experience in the treatment of all orthopedic problems. She joined Inova full time in 2009. She loves to teach and is an Accredited Clinical Instructor from the APTA. She is also a certified Lymphedema Therapist. Andrea is originally from Colombia, South America, where she received her Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy in 1991. While in Colombia she taught subjects such as Orthopedics, Massage and Electro-therapy at her university.
