All patients who receive care at Inova Cares Clinics for Women, must be referred to the clinic by an appropriate community partner.

Dr. Alquietta L. Brown serves as Vice President, Nursing for Inova Behavioral Health Services as well as Chief Nursing Officer for Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. As an accomplished and versatile senior nursing executive, she oversees and manages all nursing functions for Inova’s behavioral health service line. She also has a broad range of experience in academic medical sectors.

Ashley Virts, RN, MSN-FNP, is the Vice President of Nursing for the Inova Pediatric Service Line. An accomplished executive nurse leader, Ashley garners a wealth of clinical and operational knowledge in varying subspecialties including women’s, pediatrics, heart and vascular, critical care and neurosciences. She is a people-focused leader and empathetic patient advocate with extensive experience navigating the complexities of patient-centered operations at Inova Health System.
