    Svetolik Djurkovic, MD, is critical care physician who provides care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Dr. Djurkovic's clinical interests are severe infections and respiratory failure. He is board certified in critical care medicine, infectious diseases and internal medicine. Dr. Djurkovic's goal with his patients is to treat their acute and often life-threatening conditions and also to help their families, especially during the most acute phase of the patient's disease.

    Whitney Shanley is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine with a focus in urgent care. She joined Inova Health System in 2020. Whitney is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the George Washington University School of Nursing. When Whitney isn’t writing or grading papers, you can find her with her husband and three children at the closest beach.
