Suchitra K Hourigan, MD
Dr. Hourigan is the Vice Chair of Research at Inova Children's Hospital. She completed her medical training at the University of Oxford and her pediatric residency and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Johns Hopkins before joining Inova. Dr. Hourigan’s research is focused on the intestinal microbiome (the trillions of bugs that live in our guts) and how it influences childhood health and disease.
