Dr. Stephen Gaeta is a specialty care physician board certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He joined Inova Medical Group from Duke University Medical Center with eight years of clinical experience. He has a special interest in the management of heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), ventricular tachycardia (VT) and premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). Dr. Clement attended the University of South Alabama Medical School and completed his internship and residency at Tulane University Affiliated Hospitals in New Orleans, LA. He completed his fellowship in endocrinology at Joslin Diabetes Center, Boston, MA. Dr. Clement served as a U.S. Army physician at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in the role of director of the diabetes program.

Dr. Stephen Varga is a specialty care physician board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. He joined Inova Medical Group with more than 13 years of clinical experience. He has a special interest in management of trauma patients, emergency general surgery and critical care medicine. Dr. Varga’s interest in trauma and emergency general surgery was instilled and nourished through his time as an Air Force surgeon, providing life-saving treatment to wounded soldiers in Afghanistan and in the U.S.
