Sahar Perez is a board-certified physician assistant. She joined Inova GIMG with more than two years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in preventive medicine and building relationships with her patients. She also enjoys managing chronic illnesses and working on lifestyle changes with her patients to help improve their overall health. Sahar currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and daughter. In her spare time she enjoys baking, being outdoors and spending time with her family.

Dr. Saima Rafique is a specialty care physician board certified in obstetrics and gynecology at Inova Health System. She joined Inova in 2020 with several years of clinical experience. Dr. Rafique strives to provide compassionate, patient centered and evidence-based care to women through all phases of their lives. Having worked in national and international settings, she enjoys caring for women across diverse cultural backgrounds and values the ability to develop strong and everlasting relationships with her patients.

Sally Safferson is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner with more than a decade of experience in a variety of OB-GYN fields including infertility, pelvic floor therapy, outpatient gynecology, and labor and delivery. She joined Inova Health System in 2021. Sally received her master’s in nursing from the women’s health nurse practitioner program at Drexel University in Philadelphia and her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Sally's primary goal is to make patients feel at ease discussing their most personal concerns.
