Dr. Ryan Closson is a specialty care physician board certified in pediatric at Inova Health System. He joined Inova in 2022 and has been practicing since 2016. After attending Cornell University for his undergraduate degree, he worked for several years in the culinary and engineering fields. He then went back to complete a post-baccalaureate program before attending Stony Brook University School of Medicine in Stony Brook, NY. After this, Dr.

Ryan Lawson is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. He joined Inova Health system in 2020 and has been practicing since 2017. Prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner, Ryan worked as a staff nurse with Fairfax Family Practice.

Ryann earned a bachelor’s degree in history and French from the University of Arizona and recently graduated from the George Washington University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She is currently a resident with Inova’s Orthopedic Residency program and certified in dry needling. Before becoming a PT, Ryann spent many years traveling the world living in three continents, four countries, and four islands. Ryann has taught in elementary and middle school with her favorite subject being PE. She also was a Crossfit trainer and has a passion for strength training.
