Rachel earned her Master's degree in social work from Rutgers University in 2013. She is a Licensed Social Worker in Virginia, a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Provider. She is currently a Social Work Resident, working towards clinical licensure. Before joining Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in January of 2019, Rachel worked for a nationwide veteran nonprofit organization, in two different roles. She co-facilitated adventurous retreats for veterans and military couples, focused on resiliency and coping skills.

Dr. Rachel Casey is the Medical Director of Inova Children’s Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and is a specialty care physician board certified in obstetrics and gynecology with a focused practice designation in pediatric and adolescent gynecology at Inova Health System. Dr. Casey is a passionate advocate and educator for the healthcare of women and children. This spans from educating her patients, to events in our local community, to work on national healthcare initiatives.
