Amanda joined Inova Physical Therapy at the Springfield Center location in 2013 and has more than 6 years of experience. She worked for a private outpatient orthopedic clinic prior to working for Inova. Amanda's career path has been led by her desire to help others while serving the needy in the local community and abroad. She has improved her skills and knowledge through continuing education courses in myofascial technique, manual therapy, current surgical procedures, and management/treatment for patients with Parkinson's disease.

Dr. Ambika Baru is a specialty care physician, board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in endocriniology, diabetes and metabolism. She joined Inova Health System in 2020 and has been practicing since 2015. Dr. Baru completed her internal medicine residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center – Philadelphia and graduated from a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Her interests are diabetes and thyroid cancer. Dr. Baru cherishes the personal bonds that endocrinology practice allows her to form with patients.
