The VA’s Veterans Health Information Exchange (VHIE) program gives VA and non-VA healthcare providers secure access to certain parts of veterans’ electronic health records.

To maximize staffing resources across the system, beginning Tuesday, July 19, Inova will no longer schedule or perform elective cosmetic plastic surgeries or procedures at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, Inova Loudoun Hospital and the Inova Woodburn Surgery Center. All currently scheduled procedures will proceed as planned, and new case requests for elective cosmetic procedures can continue to be scheduled by physicians at Inova Mount Vernon and Alexandria Hospitals. Why did Inova make this decision?
