  3. Evidence-Based Practice & Research at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital

    Ann Maas, BSN, RN, clinical nurse Medical Unit and Amanda Patterson, BSN, RN, clinical nurse, Surgical Unit share EBP project on Patient Hand-off at the Inova Research Symposium. The Nursing Research & Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Council at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital supports innovation and collaboration within our hospital and across the Inova Health System. We seek to promote a culture of inquiry, among nurses at all levels and in a variety of practice environments, with the goal of generating high-quality knowledge and implementation of evidence into our daily workflow.

The Shared Governance councils are comprised of clinical nurses, clinical nurse educators, clinical nurse specialist with representation from each nursing unit.
