    Dr. Sharon Bachman is a specialty care physician board certified in general surgery. She joins Inova Medical Group with over 15 years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in management of complex abdominal wall and inguinal hernias, surgical education, and the techniques of minimally invasive surgery. She has an active research interest in prosthetic materials used in hernia repair. Most recently Dr. Bachman served as an assistant professor of clinical surgery at the University of Missouri Hospitals and a staff surgeon at the Harry S.

    Dr. Willey joined our renowned Breast Cancer Program with more than 30 years of experience, and serves as Peterson Chair of Breast Cancer Research, a position endowed by the Peterson Family Foundation. In her role, she leads research endeavors and provides recommendations for new technologies and treatments in breast cancer. She joined Inova Schar Cancer Institute from MedStar Georgetown University Hospital where she was the Chief of the Department of Surgery and Director of MedStar's Regional Breast Health Program.
