Shannon Healy PT, DPT, joined the Inova Physical Therapy team after completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Shenandoah University in 2021. Prior to Shenandoah University, Shannon earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in exercise science from Old Dominion University, which is where her passion for sports medicine stems. While receiving her master’s, Shannon was a graduate assistant working in the Biomechanics Lab assisting in running and gait analyses and teaching biomechanical principles.

Dr. Sharayu B. Sawant is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She joined Inova Medical Group with more than 21 years of clinical experience and is passionate about preventive health. Special clinical interests include integrative and complementary medicine. Dr. Sawant decided to specialize in family medicine because she loves treating patients of all ages and guiding them along their health journey. Her goal is to help her patients live as healthy and fully as possible. She is passionate about preventative and women's health. A native of Bombay, India, Dr.

Dr. Sharon Bachman is a specialty care physician board certified in general surgery. She joins Inova Medical Group with over 15 years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in management of complex abdominal wall and inguinal hernias, surgical education, and the techniques of minimally invasive surgery. She has an active research interest in prosthetic materials used in hernia repair. Most recently Dr. Bachman served as an assistant professor of clinical surgery at the University of Missouri Hospitals and a staff surgeon at the Harry S.
