Laura Shernit is a specialty nurse practitioner board certified in women’s health. She joined Inova in 2020 with four years of clinical experience as a women’s health nurse practitioner and five years as a labor and delivery nurse. Laura believes in delivering high-quality healthcare to her patients. Her goal is to help her patients feel cared for and listened to, from puberty through menopause and everything in between. A native of Salisbury, MD, Laura currently resides in McLean, VA, with her husband and their four sons. In her spare time she likes to spend time with friends and family.

Laura D'Costa, PT, DPT, joined Inova Physical Therapy in 2021. She graduated from Elon University with bachelor of science degrees in exercise science and dance science. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2020. Laura was able to combine her passions of rehabilitation and the arts by completing a graduate certificate in performing arts medicine at Shenandoah University to further enhance her treatment and screening of dancers, musicians and vocalists.
