Katie graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Nutrition Science in 2012. She earned her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in August, 2016. While at SU, Katie volunteered on two medical mission trips to serve in a Jacmel, Haiti physical therapy clinic. Katie is a graduate from the Virginia Orthopeadic Manual Physical Therapy Institute (VOMPTI) Residency program. She is an APTA accredited clinical instructor and is board certified in orthopedics. Katie is also an instructional assistant at SU teaching therapeutic exercise.

Dr. Kei Suzuki is a specialty care physician board certified in thoracic surgery and general surgery. He joined Inova Health System in 2021 and has been practicing since 2006. Dr. Suzuki is the Director of Thoracic Surgery Research. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Suzuki worked as an attending surgeon at Boston Medical Center and as an assistant professor of surgery at Boston University School of Medicine.
