Kara Dorsey joined Inova Healthy System in July 2018. She has been practicing physical therapy since 2016 and has worked in clinics located in Maryland and Virginia. She completed her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Howard University. Kara has completed a course in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, a certification in Kinesiotaping, and a lumbopelvic and cervical course through The North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). She is also currently pursuing a manual certification through NAIOMT.
