Karla Hoke Pillote is a certified adult nurse practitioner. She joined Inova Health System in 2022 and has been practicing since 1987. She has experience in hepatology, liver transplant, hepatobiliary issues, infectious diseases and human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. Prior to joining Inova, Karla was a senior nurse practitioner at Johns Hopkins University’s transplant hepatology program.

Karla is a graduate of Ohio University School of Physical Therapy and the clinic director of the Springfield Inova Physical Therapy Center. She has been with Inova since 1992 - enjoying her entire career at the Springfield location. Karla started as a staff therapist, and has been the clinic director since 2002. Working in the outpatient orthopedic setting has been very rewarding for Karla. She enjoys utilizing her years of training and skills to customize treatment plans for each individual patient's needs.
