    Dr. Emad Abuhamda is a specialty care physician board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology at Inova Health System. He joined Inova in 2022 and has been practicing since 1997. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Abuhamda worked as a staff gastroenterology hospitalist, therapeutic endoscopist and endosonographer at the Marshall Medical Center in Placerville, CA.     Emily joined Inova Health System in January 2021. She received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech with a major in human nutrition, foods and exercise, and minor in Spanish. She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. Emily is passionate about continuing her education and is always searching for opportunities to learn and better herself throughout her career. She is certified in Dry Needling Levels 1 and 2 and has taken courses from the Institute of Physical Art.
