Carrie Friedman, RN, BSN, OC, Carrie has been a nurse at Inova since 1998, starting as a new graduate on the Inpatient Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Since then, she has worked in various areas, but her heart has always been with the oncology patient population. She returned to Cancer Services in 2009 as an oncology nurse navigator and moved under the Life with Cancer umbrella as Manager, Oncology Navigation and Counseling in 2013.

Dr. Cary Schwartzbach is a specialty care physician board certified in orthopedic surgery. He has been an orthopedic surgeon with Inova since 1989, serving at Inova Fairfax Hospital. He has a special interest in the management of orthopedic injuries, especially shoulder, elbow and knee. Most recently, Dr. Schwartzbach is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedics at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at George Washington University School of Medicine.
