Dr. Anita Rentz is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She joined Inova Health System in 2020 and has been practicing since 1992. Dr. Rentz joined Herndon Family Medicine, An Inova Partner, in 2001. Her clinical interests are pediatrics and women’s health. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, participating in church activities, traveling, horseback riding and reading.

Dr. Anita Kumar is a specialty care physician board certified in gastroenterology at Inova Health System. She joined Inova in 2022 and has been practicing since 2008. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Kumar worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the gastroenterology and hepatology department at GW Medical Faculty Associates and George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Dr. Anjali Garg is a primary care physician board certified in internal medicine. She joins Inova Medical Group with over 15 years of clinical experience. Dr. Garg has a special interest in the management of chronic medical illnesses like diabetes, hypertension, women's health and preventative health care. Most recently she served as a Primary Care Physician with Medstar Medical Group at Bethesda, MD for the last seven years. Dr. Garg became interested in internal medicine to help her patients lead a healthy lifestyle in order for them to enjoy life to the fullest.

Dr. Goyal is a primary care physician board certified in internal medicine with more than 25 years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in the management of preventive medicine and women’s health. Most recently Dr. Goyal has served on various Inova quality committees that oversee the delivery of good, cost effective and appropriate care for all patients. Dr. Goyal became interested in internal medicine because it offers a broad spectrum and includes all aspects of medicine integral to the well being of a person.

Dr. Anju Singhal is a specialty care physician board certified in pulmonary disease, critical care, internal medicine and pediatrics and Co-Director of our Cystic Fibrosis Program. She joined Inova Health System in 2020 as an advanced lung disease fellow before joining Inova Heart and Vascular Institute in 2021 as an advanced lung disease and lung transplant physician. Dr. Singhal enjoys working with bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, adanced lung disease, lung transplant and transitional care patients.

Dr. Ankit A. Shah is a specialty care physician board certified in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology. He joined Inova Health System in 2021 and has been practicing since 2007. Dr. Shah completed his specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology from Northshore- LIJ Healthsystem in Manhasset, NY in 2011. He then moved to Chicago to complete his fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Chicago.  Shortly after completing the fellowship, he joined Perinatal Associates of Northern Virginia in 2014.
