    The Inova Pulmonary Embolism Response Team is a multidisciplinary team of specialists designed to improve and expedite the care of patients diagnosed with acute pulmonary embolism. The team consists of pulmonologists, interventional radiologists, intensivists, cardiologists and emergency room physicians. The team is available 24/7 to evaluate patients and deliver care for the highest risk PE patients in need of advanced level care.     Patients with Severe Emphysema Can Breathe Easier with Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction Bronchoscopic lung volume reduction (BLVR) is a nonsurgical procedure to treat advanced emphysema by placing tiny valves in the airways. The procedure takes about an hour and requires no cutting or incisions.
