    COVID-19 Inova Juniper Program Scheduling Appointments Notice Inova is taking the appropriate steps to protect the safety of our patients, communities, team members and caregivers. Virtual visits are now being offered. If you are experiencing a fever or symptoms of respiratory infection, such as cough or difficulty breathing, or had exposure to a COVID-19 patient, please contact us so we can assist you with recommendations and arrange a virtual visit or clinic appointment if indicated.     Inquiries, Admissions and Referrals The inquiry, assessment and referral office of child and adolescent outpatient services may be reached by calling 703-218-8500. Staff will be available to answer questions, schedule assessments and provide referrals. For assessment and inquiry into admissions for adolescent psychiatric inpatient services, call 703-289-7550.

Expand Content We are contracted with many of the insurance companies that offer in and out of network benefits for programs at Inova Kellar Center. We recommend families contact their insurance companies directly to understand their behavioral health benefits. At the time of the call to schedule an assessment, we collect insurance information and the financial counselor calls for benefit verification as a courtesy to the family.
  8. Intensive Outpatient Programs

    Inova Kellar Center is dedicated to providing excellence in quality mental health services to adolescents and their families in our Northern Virginia community. We strive to foster an emotionally and physically safe environment that strengthens resilience, improves pro-social adaptive behaviors, and supports patients and families in achieving their goals of safety in order to effectively function in their home, school, and community.
  9. Intensive Outpatient Program: Mental Health

    The Intensive Outpatient Program for Mental Health ("IOP-MH") is a program designed specifically for male and female adolescents (age 13-18) who are experiencing emotional or behavioral problems that are significantly impacting their ability to be successful in the home, school or community. The IOP adolescent is currently attending school, maintaining a level of safety that does not require constant supervision and is willing to participate in a “talk” group therapy program. Adolescents need to be receiving or scheduled to receive outpatient individual therapy (referrals can be provided).
