We urge you to ask questions, be proactive and take an active part in your healthcare plan.   3. Before Your Surgery

    Pre-Op Information Interview: Before your surgery, one of our nurses will call you to conduct a telephone interview. If this interview does not occur before your scheduled day of surgery your procedure may need to be rescheduled. For your convenience, feel free to call us at 703-663-1428 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. (M-F) if you have any questions (pre-op number only).   4. Inova McLean Ambulatory Surgery Center - Billing & Insurance

    PAY BILL  (Inova online bill pay system for McLean Surgery Center) CareCredit - Pay Now (Use your CareCredit account) Insurance Before the date of your surgery you will need to provide us with insurance information. Some insurance companies require pre-certification before surgery. It is your responsibility to ensure that all appropriate paperwork, provided by your surgeon, has been completed to allow our Business Office to obtain pre-certification from your insurance company. Your surgeon’s office staff should assist you in the process.

  6. Neurosurgery Patient Information

    MyChart Expand Content Existing patients can register for MyChart, our patient portal that gives access to the same electronic medical records that your doctor uses. Please register for MyChart to access your latest records. Activate MyChart Login to MyChart Medical Insurance Expand Content Insurance coverage varies. Your policy may require a copayment or preauthorization. Additionally, tests or imaging studies may need insurance approval. We recommend you contact your insurer’s customer service department for details. NOTE: We no longer accept Kaiser Permanente.
  7. Patient Information

    A patient access associate will make an appointment with the appropriate neurosurgeon and will record detailed information about your condition and demographics. Referring physicians are welcome to contact any of our neurosurgeons directly to facilitate consultations or inter-hospital transfers of high-acuity patients. Please note that our appointment line is for non-emergency or non-life threatening conditions only.
