Our residents have gone on to pursue successful careers in many areas of pharmacy practice. We are in the 34th year of our PGY1 Program. How many residents do you accept? Expand Content We have four PGY1 residency positions available. How does the clinical on call program work?

Estimated Stipend $57,600 Vacation/PTO Residents accrue paid time off (PTO) during the one-year residency program. Use of PTO will be in accordance with the residents' PTO policy. Insurance Residents are eligible for medical, prescription, dental, vision, long-term disability and short-term disability insurance. Professional Liability Insurance Residents are covered by the hospital's general professional liability insurance. Educational Stipend Reasonable expenses for travel to the ASHP Mid-Year Meeting and a regional residency research conference are reimbursable.

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus (IFMC) offers an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program that uniquely combines the academic rigor of a university based hospital, the complexities of critical care subspecialty, and the family atmosphere of a community program. The PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program builds on the doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency programs to contribute to the development of critical care clinical pharmacy specialists.

Applications will be accepted through PhORCAS, the online pharmacy residency application system.
