Dr. Michel Bornacelly-Perez is a Board certified Family Medicine specialist. He joins Inova Medical Group with more than 16 years of diverse experience. He has a special interest in management of chronic diseases including Hypertension, Diabetes and Preventive Medicine. Prior to joining Inova Medical Group, Dr. Bornacelly-Perez worked as a staff physician for the Faculty of Family Medicine Residency program at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, New York.

Michelle Downie is a family nurse practitioner at Inova Health System. She joined Inova in 2022 and has been practicing since 2013. Prior to joining Inova, Michelle worked as a nurse practitioner at a urogynecology practice in Annandale, VA.

Michelle Alvarado is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She joined Inova Health System in 2021 and has been practicing as a registered nurse since 2018. Prior to joining Inova, Michelle completed her Master of Science in Nursing at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.  Michelle enjoys working with patients of all ages and has a special interest in the management of diabetes. She feels a strong sense of compassion and has a deep sense of commitment to helping others in their times of need.
