Mary graduated with honors in Communication Studies from UNC at Chapel Hill in 2004. She received her massage therapy training from Eastwind School of Holistc Healing in Iowa City, Iowa, in 2006 and has been working as a licensed massage therapist ever since. Mary offers many forms of massage including shiatsu, sports therapy, hot stone massage, swedish massage and prenatal massage. Mary is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist since 2009, and enjoys continuing her education in all forms of healing.

Maryam has been with Inova since 2005. She graduated from Tehran University in 1991 with a BS in physical therapy. She became a certified McKenzie clinician in 2005. It helps clinicians in both diagnosis and treatment of patients with any mechanical disorder in the spine and in the extremities. Maryam believes that most patients can successfully treat themselves when provided the necessary knowledge and tools. In 2013, Maryam became interested in women's health programs.
