    Kristen Smiley-Flowers is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in hematology/oncology. She joined Inova Health System in 2016 and has been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2020, after practicing as a registered nurse since 2003. She has special interests in symptom management, patient education and the care of vulnerable populations.  Prior to joining Inova as a nurse practitioner, Kristen has worked as an infusion nurse at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute Infusion Center. She has devoted her entire nursing career to the care of oncology patients.

    Kristen Sutphin is a family nurse practitioner. She joined Inova Health System in 2022 and has been practicing since 2011. Prior to joining Inova, Kristen worked as a COVID-19 initiative oversight nurse practitioner at CVS MinuteClinic in Mclean, VA with responsibility for six stores in the Northern Virginia area. In May 2019, she received her master’s in nursing from George Washington University in Washington, DC. Kristen’s clinical areas of interest include preventative care; primary care; and ear, nose and throat care. She enjoys working with families and geriatric patient populations.

    Kristen Brown is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined Inova Health System in 2020 and has been practicing since 2018. Prior to joining Inova, Kristen worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at an emergency department in the Washington, DC, area.

    Kristen received her Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Indiana University in 1993 and joined the Inova team the same year. She is a certified clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. Kristen has treated a variety of orthopedic conditions over her career. She is especially interested in treatment of the elbow and hand. She has also trained in physical therapy services in the recovery from breast cancer treatments.
