John F Deeken, MD
Dr. Deeken joined Inova in 2013 and currently has more than 18 years of clinical experience in internal medicine and medical oncology. He serves as the President of Inova Schar Cancer Institute (Inova Schar) and Medical Director for the Inova Schar Head and Neck Cancer Program. His clinical research focuses on the use of immunotherapy treatments while his laboratory research takes a closer look at understanding the growing epidemic of head and neck cancers caused by HPV. -

Hamilton, MD, PhD, serves as the Medical Director of the Inova Peripheral Nerve Program, Inova Health System, Co-Medical Director of the Inova Spine Program at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Section Chief, Neurosurgery at Inova Fairfax Hospital and as a physician in the Inova Neurosurgery practice. He is on the faculty team in the Inova Neurosurgical Residency Program and is an Associate Professor in the department of neurosurgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Inova campus. -
