Dr. John Rothrock is a specialty care physician board certified in neurology and vascular neurology at Inova Health System. He joined Inova in 2022 and has been practicing since 1984. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Rothrock was Professor and Vice Chairman for George Washington University’s neurology department. Dr. John Moynihan is a specialty care physician board certified in general surgery. He has a special interest in management of breast, colon, gallbladder, hernia, and thyroid/parathyroid surgeries. Dr. Moynihan has served as President of Inova Surgical Services, with oversight responsibilities for the service line across all Inova hospitals since March 2020, and has served as Chair of the Department of Surgery at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus since 2013. John received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from George Mason University in 2014, where he played on the Men's Volleyball team. He then earned his doctorate of physical therapy from Marymount University in 2019. John enjoys working in an orthopedic setting with an eclectic patient population ranging from sports medicine to geriatrics. John had the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua to treat patients with complex neurologic and orthopedic disorders, and helped facilitate the launching of a new outpatient physical therapy center in Nindiri, Nicaragua.
