Dr. James W. Leiphart is board certified in neurological surgery and came to Inova Medical Group with nine years of surgical and clinical experience. He has a special interest in management of epilepsy and complex pain syndrome. Dr. Leiphart is the Vice Chair of Education for Inova Neurosciences, Director of  the Inova Neurosurgery Residency Program, and serves the Department of Neurosciences at Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Medicine Inova Campus where he holds the title of Associate Professor. Dr.

Jamie Tran is a board-certified physician assistant. She joined Inova Health System in 2021 and has been practicing since 2020. She supports neurosurgeon James Ecklund, MD. Prior to joining Inova, Jamie completed her master of science in physician assistant studies at Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA. She earned her undergraduate degree at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. Jamie Allport is a family nurse practitioner at Inova Health System. She rejoined Inova in 2022 and has been practicing as a nurse since 2010. Prior to joining Inova, Jamie worked as a travel registered nurse at West Virginia University Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, WV.
