Jennifer M Cifuentes, NP

Jennifer Cifuentes is a women’s health nurse practitioner at Inova Health System. She joined Inova in 2015 as a patient care technician on the postpartum unit at Inova Loudoun Hospital. Jennifer became a registered nurse in 2017 and continued working on the postpartum unit of Inova Loudoun until 2022, when she became a women’s health nurse practitioner and joined the team of Inova Cares Clinic for Women in Falls Church, VA. Jennifer is certified in maternal newborn nursing. Jennifer’s clinical areas of interest include contraceptive counseling and placement. She enjoys working with the Spanish-speaking population, as she is fluent in Spanish. Jennifer’s patient care philosophy is to take care of the patient as a whole person and not just a diagnosis. Her patient care goal is to make sure that patients can trust her and know that she cares about their health, so they feel important and comfortable when sharing concerns. Jennifer cares deeply about women’s health, especially in regard to helping decrease the disparity that minority women face in healthcare. Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys traveling the world, experiencing different cultures and spending time with her puppy, Stitch.
