Dr. Brett Atwater is a specialty care physician board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He joined Inova Health System in 2020 and has been practicing since 2008. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Atwater was an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Cardiology at Duke University. Brett Gustman is a state-licensed and nationally-certified athletic trainer who joined Inova Sports Medicine in 2016. With nearly 20 years of experience, his goal is to provide comprehensive post-injury care, baseline concussion testing and education to athletes, parents and coaches within the community. Brett graduated from West Virginia University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training.
