Dr. Assad Munis is a specialty care physician board certified in internal medicine at Inova Health System. He joined Inova in 2022 and has been practicing since 2016. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Munis started his career at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in the backyard of his alma mater, Virginia Tech, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in human nutrition, foods and exercise. He then completed his internal medicine residency, as well as a gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship, at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Dr.

Dr. Ataharul Mannan is a primary care physician board eligible internal medicine at Inova Health System. He joined Inova in 2022 and has been practicing since 2019. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Mannan worked as Clinical Instructor of Internal Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Akron. Dr. Mannan is proficient in Bengali and French, played violin for eight years, and is an avid University of North Carolina sports fan. Dr. Atitegeb Tibebu is a primary care physician board certified in internal medicine. She joined Inova Medical Group with more than 20 years of clinical experience. Dr. Tibebu has a special interest in the management of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia and women's health. Dr. Tibebu believes in the primary prevention of diseases. Her goal is to educate her patients about their health conditions and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. A native of Ethiopia, Dr. Tibebu currently resides in Mclean, Virginia, with her husband and their three children.
