Alex Nelson is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She joined Inova Health System in 2021 and has been practicing since 2019. Prior to joining Inova, Alex worked as an oncology nurse practitioner at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance in Seattle, WA. Alexis is a licensed physical therapist who joined Inova Health System in August 2019. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology at Temple University and earned her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. At Thomas Jefferson, Alexis coordinated various community service events and participated in a service learning trip to Guatemala where she provided pro-bono physical therapy services to the underserved population. Alexis is passionate about enhancing patient care through individualized goal setting.
