  3. Elective Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Procedure Changes

    To maximize staffing resources across the system, beginning Tuesday, July 19, Inova will no longer schedule or perform elective cosmetic plastic surgeries or procedures at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, Inova Loudoun Hospital and the Inova Woodburn Surgery Center. All currently scheduled procedures will proceed as planned, and new case requests for elective cosmetic procedures can continue to be scheduled by physicians at Inova Mount Vernon and Alexandria Hospitals.     Due to the current COVID-19 emergency, Inova is seeking physicians/NPs/PAs/CRNAs who can assist in caring for hospitalized patients.  We have two roles identified at this time: Direct patient care at the five Inova hospitals – this is our priority need Remote pager-call coverage to review charts and place orders Physicians/NPs/PAs/CRNAs not currently employed by Inova will receive PRN compensation.
