    At Inova, our relationships with patients and families is the center of our care delivery model. Everyone is responsible for, and plays an important role in, the patient experience. “Patient Experience” is defined by Beryl Institute as the sum of all interactions, shaped by an organization's culture, that influence patient perceptions across the continuum of care. The council also includes interprofessional colleagues from Pharmacy, Laboratory Services, Infection Prevention, PT, Informatics, and Quality as ad-hoc members.

    Patients with acute damage to the musculoskeletal system seek treatment at Inova’s Orthopedic Trauma and Fracture Care Program for a wide range of difficult orthopedic conditions. Complex peri-articular fractures Pelvis and acetabluar fractures Acetabular is the part of the pelvis that forms the hip joint. Acetabular trauma is damage to the socket of the hip joint but is different than a hip fracture. Post-traumatic deformity  This is a change in musculoskeletal shape or form after a trauma, injury or illness.

    Our team includes fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma and board-certified orthopedic surgeons who treat a high volume of complex cases covering the full spectrum of fracture and orthopedic injuries. Our practice covers the orthopedic trauma services for Inova Trauma Center, Northern Virginia’s only Level 1 Trauma Center, located at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, allowing us to draw on the expertise of other specialists as needed. Our integrated team focuses on optimal patient treatment, recovery and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
