A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Melanie began her career in the field of physical therapy as a physical therapy assistant in 1997. She received her master's degree in physical therapy from Neumann College in Aston, PA, in 2002. Melanie then received her doctorate degree in physical therapy at Shenandoah University in 2021. Her experience includes tenures in several skilled nursing facilities, assisted living and nursing home centers, home health companies and outpatient orthopedic clinics. Melanie joined Inova Physical Therapy in 2013.
