During Dr. Nobu’s career, she lived in Tanzania and manned the American Embassy Clinic from 1993 to 1995. She has also worked at another family practice office in Burke and has enjoyed serving the family-oriented community in a smaller neighborhood setting for 21 years.     Dr. Ana Maria Born is a physician board certified in family practice. She joins Inova Medical Group with over 5 years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in management of women’s health and preventative medicine for the whole family. Most recently Dr. Born served as a physician at an internal medicine practice in Alexandria, VA, prior to that in family practice in Bealton, VA. Dr. Born became interested in family practice because she believes that treating the whole family is the most effective way to help people stay healthy.

Prior to joining Inova, Ana worked as a registered nurse for seven years. Her work experience and background are in the fields of inpatient neurology, occupational health and public health.
