Lisa was born and raised in Massachusetts, and moved to Virginia in 2004 after high school where she attended Marymount University for her undergraduate and graduate studies. In 2008 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree and in 2011 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. While fulfilling her doctoral degree, she volunteered her physical therapy services to local orphans in Costa Rica while helping the orphanage implement their own healthcare services.
