Dr. Donald Brideau trained and served in the U.S. Navy as a family physician. He moved to Northern Virginia in 1992. During his career in the area, he has continued to serve the community as a family physician, and also served as Chief Medical Officer and then CEO at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and later Inova Fair Oaks Hospital before returning to full-time clinical practice.  Dr. Brideau specializes in treating tobacco dependence and performs comprehensive skin exams utilizing dermoscopy for improved detection of skin cancers.
