Dr. Afrooz Ardestani is a specialty care cardiologist board certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, adult comprehensive echocardiography and internal medicine. She joined Inova Medical Group with more than 14 years of clinical experience. Her expertise is in general cardiology, especially in cardiovascular imaging, preventive cardiology, lipid disorder and women's heart health. Her research interests are in the areas of preventive cardiology and cardiovascular epidemiology and cardiac imaging. She has authored several presentations and peer-review publications. Dr.

Dr. Ahmad Safra is a board-certified transplant and general surgeon. He joined Inova Health System in 2021 and has been practicing since 2006.  Dr. Safra completed a fellowship in multi-organ transplant where he gained extensive experience in liver, kidney and pancreas transplant in addition to hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. During his training, he also developed a special interest in robotic surgery. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Safra was a transplant surgeon in the state of Indiana.  Dr. Safra strives to provide life-changing care to patients suffering from end-stage organ failure.
