1. Michelle Ferretti, LCSW, OSW-C

    Michelle joined Life with Cancer in 2015 after a yearlong internship with the program. Currently she coordinates the Integrative Psycho-Oncology Program (IPOP), a four-program curriculum designed to build emotional coping skills and resilience from cognitive, mindfulness-based, and contemplative perspectives.
  2. Molly Seys, RD, CNSC

    Molly is a Registered Dietitian who has been working with the Inova Health System since April 2020. While she has been caring for patients at the Inova Loudoun Radiation Oncology Center since this time, she officially joined the Inova Schar Cancer Institute and Life with Cancer nutrition team in March 2021.Molly is a transplant from San Antonio, TX where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and her Dietetic Internship at the University of the Incarnate Word.
  3. Petya Ivanova

    Petya joined Life with Cancer as an Administrative Coordinator Sr. in September 2021. Prior to that, she has been in the Wellness field for more than 10 years, supporting and managing programs and events. Petya has a degree in Economics, experience in business administration and has a passion assisting all people, within or outside of the team. She always finds the bright side of situations, and whenever possible, makes lemonade out of lemons. In her free time, Petya enjoys riding her bicycle, learning about art, Feng Shui, different cultures, and ways to improve one’s overall well-being.
  4. Rebecca DiPatri, RN, BSN, OCN

    Rebecca DiPatri, RN, BSN, OCN® has twenty years of clinical oncology nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Virginia where she graduated cum laude. Among her many accomplishments, Rebecca has presented at national conferences for the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and Association of Oncology Social Workers (AOSW). She has served on national advisory boards for ONS and contributed to the development of a national toolkit for oncology nurse navigators. She has been an ONS manuscript peer reviewer and authored for the AOSW Navigator.
  5. Reid Saunders, LAc

    Reid Saunders brings 25 years and over 25,000 hours of clinical experience to the Life With Cancer team. Reid’s journey as a healer began with a 3-1/2 year residency at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Lenox, MA. While at Kripalu, Reid was immersed in the practice and study of yoga, meditation, nutrition and holistic lifestyle. In 1993 Reid moved to Northern VA, and he enrolled at the Baltimore School of Massage and shortly thereafter at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Columbia, MD.
  6. Sarah Bradley, MHA

    Sarah Bradley is the Director of Life with Cancer for the Inova Schar Cancer Institute. She brings 15 years of experience leading multidisciplinary service lines across large hospital systems. In addition, she has more than 20 years of personal experience supporting Northern Virginia patients and families impacted by cancer through an organization she founded in memory of her brother.   7. Sarah Brooks, LPC, MA

    Sarah Brooks, LPC has over a decade of counseling experience providing support to those affected by cancer and other chronic and life-limiting illnesses. She has provided supportive care in a variety of settings, including a hospice and palliative care organization, grief and loss center, and a local Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.At Life with Cancer, Sarah provides individual counseling and support groups for patients and their caregivers.
  8. Sermsak Lolak, MD, FACLP

    Dr. Lolak is a staff oncology psychiatrist at Life with Cancer and part of the physician team at Inova Schar Cancer Institute. Dr. Lolak has been primarily working with medically-ill patients since 2004. He completed residency training in general psychiatry at the George Washington University, followed by fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (psychiatry in the medically ill) at Inova Fairfax Hospital/Georgetown University.
  9. Shari Langer, Psy.D.

    Dr. Shari Langer joined Life with Cancer’s Child and Adolescent Program in 2020 as a pediatric psychologist following eight years of clinical experience at children’s hospitals in California and the DC metro area. She offers evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions for children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer and their families primarily during hospitalization.
