Qualified applicants will be contacted by the program director and scheduled for in person interviews with senior committee members.

At Inova Physical Therapy Centers (IPTC), we are team dedicated to being the provider of choice for our community.

Inova Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program The program is set to commence in the end of 2020 and runs for 18 months. The program includes over 2,800 program hours, including treatment of cervical spine, thoracic spine and ribcage, lumbar spine, pelvis and SI joint, TMJ, hip, knee, ankle, foot, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.  Several written tests and practical exams will be executed throughout the program.

The Goals of the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program are to: Support the mission, vision and values of Inova Health System to provide world-class healthcare – every time, every touch – to each person in every community we have the privilege to serve. Develop advanced knowledge and clinical decision making in clinicians who are independent and self-motivated learners. This is through rigorous academic and clinical components of the curriculum to succeed in orthopedic specialty physical therapy practice.

Our program purpose is to promote clinical excellence by developing skilled clinicians through high-quality education in orthopedics with a devotion to patient care, mentorship and a commitment to community.
